How I Edit My Images

Introduction

For me, post-processing is just as important as the shoot itself, because this is where I truly bring my creative vision to life.

1. Selecting the Images

After every shoot, I look at the images very carefully. I pay attention not only to the way I photographed, but also to the vibes. Which images best convey the feeling I had in mind? I always take my time selecting them. Since I take a lot of images, some of which look quite similar, I always pay attention to the smallest details, as this is a very important step, and I decide which photos will make up the final result.

2. Editing with Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop

I mostly use Lightroom for basic editing. Here, I adjust exposure, contrast, and especially colors. Even small changes can completely change the character of an image. For more detailed retouching or creative effects, I also work with Photoshop. There, I can make even more detailed adjustments and give my images a special touch.

3. My Style

Adobe programs are still relatively new to me, and I’m just getting used to them step by step. This means I’m experimenting a lot and trying out different looks. So, I’m still

in the process of finding my own style, but that’s exactly what makes it so exciting for me. It’s important to me that my images remain authentic. I want them to appear real while still demonstrating a unique style that develops over time. I like to experiment with light and color until I get the mood I like. I make sure that the editing doesn’t appear artificial. The image should always remain genuine and authentic.

Conclusion:

Image editing is an important step for me, a part of my workflow. It’s the only way the images emerge the way I envisioned them in the concept phase. It’s always an exciting journey and, for me, one of the most creative and complex steps in photography.
